Influenza due to Influenza A virus

Treatment: Influenza A virus treatment

It defines as an acute onset of a sore throat with or without exudate. The absence of cough, nasal congestion, and nasal discharge distinguishes bacterial from viral pathogen.


Indications

  • with suspected or confirmed pathogen who are at higher risk for viral complications:

    Patient age of > 65 years old. Chronic and severe comorbidities including immunosuppressed patients. Pregnant or postpartum (within 2 weeks after delivery). Residents of chronic-care facilities.
